Hello patients and DNDC community!
We have missed you!
Life has been anything but normal this spring and we sincerely hope that this letter finds you and your families in good health.
We are thrilled to inform you that the Ministry of Health has lifted the restrictions placed back in March. As of June 8th, our office will be open with regular office hours and the doctors of DNDC will be able to provide you and your families with dental care!! We are still awaiting word from the governing body of the hygienists, as to when cleaning appointments will resume. Please stay tuned for more news about this.
While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your health and safety!
Our office has always followed strict infection control standards and in order to keep us all protected during this pandemic and in the future, we have updated our protocols.
When we see you at your next appointment, things will be a little different.
- We will ask some screening questions before your appointment and you will be asked those same questions again when you arrive in the office.
- We ask that you please arrive wearing a mask.
- We will take your temperature upon entering the office with a non-contact thermometer.
- Appointments will be spaced out to allow for physical distancing between patients. That might mean less flexibility for scheduling your appointment, but it will also reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.
- Upon arriving to the clinic, you will be asked to use hand sanitizer. We have these sanitizers strategically placed around the office for your use.
- Our waiting room will no longer offer magazines or children's toys since those items are difficult to disinfect.
- The chairs in reception will be spaced apart to allow for social distancing.
- We will be wiping down surfaces very often, throughout the day.
- You may be surprised that we are wearing more protective gear- such as masks, face shields, gowns- than we normally do during your visit.
Rest assured, all these procedures are designed to create the safest environment for you, other patients, and our team.
We look forward to seeing you again. If you have any questions, or would like to make an appointment please email us at dentistry@dndc.ca or call us at 416-466-8003.
Thank you for your patience and loyalty throughout this ordeal. We value your trust and look forward to welcoming you back!
Sincerely,
The Team at Danforth Neighbourhood Dental Centre
