April 2021: Tips, eNews & More!

It's the moment we've all been waiting for; spring is finally here! With longer days and warmer weather, the days ahead are looking bright. We can finally swap our winter jackets for lighter clothing, enjoy more outdoor activities and soak in the sun. As Spring holidays like Easter, Passover, and Holi are just around the corner, remember to stay safe and practice social distancing as you celebrate and begin to spend more time outdoors.

We will be closed Friday April 2nd for Good Friday. However, we will be open for regular office hours Saturday April 3rd and Monday April 5th.

For any dental emergencies during this time, please visit the Dental Emergency Clinic located at 1650 Yonge St., or give them a call at (416) 485-7121.

We would like to give a warm welcome to Dr. Arshil Jiwa as he joins the team at DNDC! If you would like to learn more about Dr. Jiwa, click here.

We would also like to thank Dr. Kong for his great service to all our patients over the years and we wish him all the best as he continues his practice in Barrie.

April is also Oral Health Month! We would like to give a personal shoutout to Leila M. for giving us the idea for this month's article. In this month's article, we discuss the impact aging has on our dental health and how taking care of your teeth helps prevent oral diseases. We hope it gives you information and tools to help maintain your healthy smile. You can start by booking an appointment at our dental office for a check-up or teeth cleaning. Your oral health is our top priority!

Stay safe and have a healthy month,

The Team at DNDC

Some physiological changes that you may notice include symptoms of xerostomia (dry mouth), periodontitis, root and coronal caries, and increased sensitivity to certain drugs that are used in dental care...
