April 2020: COVID-19 Edition

In this very difficult time that is affecting our world, I would like to express my hope that you and your families are all well and healthy.

It was certainly an unexpected turn of events that we had to suddenly temporarily close the dental office and suspend all dental treatment to patients.

Like everyone else, we are doing our part to prevent the spread of the virus. Our college has advised us that they will not revisit the opening of dental offices until the state of emergency has been lifted by the government of Ontario. All dental appointments will be cancelled until then. We will be reaching out to patients to reschedule these appointments, once this crisis is under control, and the ban has been lifted.

Please feel free to reach out to us by email if you have any questions or concerns.

We will be checking telephone messages periodically, as we are restricting our in-office visits.

We thank you for being patient. The time will come again when we will be able to socially interact and address all your dental needs.

On behalf of our dental family at DNDC, I would like to wish you health first and foremost, happiness and peace within your households, and kindness towards one another.

Sincerely yours,

Dr. Andrew Syriopoulos

Healthy Lemon Bars (with No Refined Sugar)

With the spread of COVID-19 rapidly increasing, it is important to boost your immune system. Especially when you and your kids are stuck at home to practice social distancing, what better way to spend time than to make a citrusy dessert like lemon bars together! These healthy lemon bars are not only easy to make with your kids, but they also include Vitamin C which helps build up your immune system by increasing the production of white blood cells.
