Dr. Andrew Syriopoulos is the founder and owner of the Danforth Neighbourhood Dental Centre. He graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto in 1987. Dr. Syriopoulos practiced in Kitchener as an associate dentist and has maintained a private practice on the Danforth since his graduation.

Dr. Syriopoulos has been a member of the Greek Town Executive for three separate terms, serving once as Vice Chair.
He has served as an Executive member of the Faculty of Dentistry Dental Alumni Association and has been demonstrator of restorative dentistry at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Syriopoulos is Past President of the Asclepius Dental Society and the Toronto East Dental Society. He has served as chair of the Continuing Education Committee for the Toronto East Dental Society, and is a past member of the Membership Services Core Committee and is presently on the Education Core Committee at the Ontario Dental Association (ODA). He is an active member of Toronto Implant Aesthetic Study Club (TIASC). He has organized numerous continuing education seminars for the dental community including topics such as cosmetic and prosthodontic dentistry, endodontics, periodontal surgery and implants.
Dr. Syriopoulos continuously upgrades his knowledge including having completed extensive courses on surgical and prosthodontic implant placement and grafting with the University of Toronto and the Nobel Biocare Toronto Training Centre.

Dr. Tony Mitropoulos is excited to be back home in the vibrant City of Toronto. Having spent much of his dental education and training abroad, he welcomes the opportunity to spend much more time with family and friends in the community. Dr. Mitropoulos received his B.Sc. Degree in biology from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.

He then moved to Cleveland, Ohio to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Case Western Reserve University in 1999. Upon returning to Canada, Dr. Mitropoulos became a staff member of Brantford General Hospital. Having had great experiences away from Toronto, he is glad to be settling back in his native city.

Dr. Hodge received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Western Ontario, and was subsequently licensed by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, as a General Dentist. During his final year, he was awarded the Senior Award in Pediatric Dentistry.

Later he returned to the University of Alberta for a period of postgraduate studies. He obtained his qualifications as an Orthodontic Specialist, and undertook to obtain the additional qualification of a Masters of Science Degree.
During his tenure as a postgraduate student, he was also the recipient of research awards from the Alberta Heritage Fund and the National Research Council of Canada. Upon his return to Ontario, he received licensure from the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario as an Orthodontist. |

Dr. Gizzarelli completed his first degree at the University of Toronto in pharmacy. He worked as a pharmacist at Toronto General Hospital for 2 years before returning to the University of Toronto to study dentistry. Following his dental degree, he continued his studies in the same university and completed a 3-year, full-time Master's degree in Dental Anaesthesia. |
During these 3 years, Gino trained in the operating rooms of the Hospital for Sick Children and Toronto East General Hospital with other training rotations at Toronto Western and Toronto General Hospitals.
Dr. Gizzarelli is a member in good standing with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, the Canadian Dental Association, the American Society of Dentist Anesthesiologists, and the Canadian Academy of Dental Anaesthesia. Dr. Gizzarelli is a diplomat of the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He is a certified specialist in dental anaesthesia (in Ontario).
Through sedation or general anaesthesia, Dr. Gizzarelli looks forward to making you or your child's appointment very pleasant and is happy to answer any questions or concerns that you may have.

Dr. Pamela McGrath is a 2002 graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. She completed a 2 year General Practice Residency at Illinois Masonic Medical Centre in Chicago, Illinois acting as Chief Resident for her second year. Upon completion of her residency Dr. McGrath worked for 2 years in private practice in Chicago.

Her experiences in Chicago have provided her with the opportunity to work closely with many patient populations such as children, elderly, handicapped and special needs patients.
Dr. McGrath moved to Canada in 2006 with her husband, a native of Toronto. She has a strong commitment to providing her patients with high quality comprehensive oral health care.
Dr. McGrath is currently a member in good standing of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons and is a member of the Canadian Dental Association, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the American Association of Women Dentists. |

Prior to becoming a dentist, Dr. Chris Swayze completed an Honors degree in Physiology at the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from Queens University. Dr. Swayze graduated from the University of Western Ontario, Faculty of Dentistry in 1993. |
Following this, he completed a General Practice Residency at Victoria Hospital and University Hospital in London, Ontario. Dr. Swayze worked in private practice in Kingston, Ontario until 2001 before moving to Toronto with his wife, who has completed her medical residency.
Dr. Swayze has taught at the University of Western Ontario and the University of Toronto, Faculties of Dentistry, and acted as the Assistant Clinical Director at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto. He has also lectured extensively at numerous dental conferences, including at the Ontario Dental Association annual conference. Dr. Swayze has volunteered his services in several northern communities, Guatemala, Belize, and to homeless teens.
Dr. Swayze presently divides his time between acting as the Assistant to the Registrar at the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, and at the Danforth Neighbourhood Dental Centre. Dr. Swayze, his wife, and 2 children are proud to be part of the Danforth community.

Dr. Sofia Khan completed her Honors Bachelor of Science at the University of Toronto with majors in Biology and Zoology and a minor in Near and Middle Eastern Studies. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University, and soon after, returned to her hometown of Toronto.

Her experiences in New York City included treating patients from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds with various medical conditions and oral health needs.
Dr. Khan is a member of the Canadian Dental Association and the Toronto Implant and Aesthetic Study Club. She is committed to providing high quality dental care in a comfortable and caring environment and is dedicated to continuing dental education by attending and participating in various seminars and lectures. She enjoys providing preventative and comprehensive dental treatment to patients of all ages.

Dr. Jonathan Stern completed his honours Bachelor of Science in Physiology at the University of Toronto.
He also received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Toronto and graduated with Honours in 2008.

Dr. Robin Kutner graduated from University of Toronto, faculty of dentistry in 1993, after receiving a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Western Ontario. She was a member of the Faculty of Dentistry in the department of oral diagnosis.

Robin has taken many continuing education courses over the years. She has most recently completed the continuum at the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education in Key Biscayne Florida.

Dr. Daniel Hendricks received his Dental degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio in 2003. Following graduation Daniel served in the United States Army Dental Corps. For six and a half years, Dr. Hendricks had the opportunity to take care of the dental needs of soldiers and their families in Heidelberg, Germany.

In 2009 Dr. Hendricks moved to Mississauga and has enjoyed working in private practice. Daniel is committed to providing his patients the highest standard and most current dentistry available today in a caring way that caters to individual needs.
Dr. Hendricks is an active member or the Academy of General Dentistry and the Ontario Dental Association. He is very keen to continuously upgrade his knowledge and skills and does so by taking extensive continuing education courses in various disciplines in dentistry. He is also particularly interested in making the practice of dentistry more environmental friendly.
Dr. Hendricks is currently teaching at the University of Toronto School of Dentistry. Dr. Hendricks has volunteered his services in several Native Indian communities in Alaska and North Dakota. In addition he has traveled to the Dominican Republic on several occasions to treat children and adults in an underprivileged community.
Outside of dentistry, Daniel enjoys traveling, exercising and spending time with his wife, Mae Abdalla and their son Zeyad. |

Dr. Nicolas Naurato received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honours at the University of Toronto in 2000. He practiced as an associate dentist in the GTA for the following year. He went on to complete a 1-year residency program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Mississippi. He stayed in the residency for a second year as a dental research fellow and then returned to the GTA to work again in private practice.

Nicolas continued his postgraduate education at the University of Rochester to obtain his specialty certificate in periodontology. He is a member in good standing with both the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and the Mississippi State Board of Dental Examiners. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in Periodontics and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
Dr. Naurato is a certified specialist in periodontics. In addition to working in private practice, he also enjoys being a clinical instructor of periodontology at the University of Toronto.
